October 1, 2026 Good News for Humankind πYour daily spark of possibility β one real milestone for change from around the world. Pakistan vaccinates 45 million children against polio as cases drop sharply in 2026Polio vaccination in Pakistan isn't a once-a-year event; it's a repeated campaign aimed at the same roughly 45 million children under five, delivered three times over on average in 2026 alone. Four separate campaigns, two nationwide and two targeting high-risk districts, have put polio drops in children's mouths more than 135.9 million times this year. That sustained effort continues a decline already underway: cases fell from 74 in 2024 to 31 in 2025, and now stand at just four in 2026. Updates from Peter π Hi beautiful people, For purpose-driven professionals running on empty, burnout is often a sign we're simply doing too much, stretched thin past our breaking point. But it's also often a sign that we've been chasing greatness, rather than simply doing good in every sense of the word:
In my upcoming free, live workshop on Tuesday, October 13 from 12-1 pm Pacific, I make the case for a different model of impact: one rooted not in striving for greatness and personal success, but in being a genuine beacon of peace and enoughness in a chaotic, troubled world. This workshop will introduce my antihero philosophy and offer practical, real-life tips you can implement right now. It also draws on my personal life story: from my first day of third grade, to my father's death, to my oldest son's first day of third grade. And there will be plenty of time for your questions, reactions, and discussion. I would be so honored and delighted if you would join us! Just know this is the very first time I will give this presentation. It is meant as a friendly trial run. Your thoughts and feedback will be vital in further shaping it into what it will eventually become.
Love,
